MARTIN D. KOLLMORGEN, CFA

CEO and Chief Investment Officer

Martin Kollmorgen is the founder and Chief Investment Officer of Serenity Alternative Investments. His experience in institutional asset management encompasses a unique blend of expertise in quantitative investing and fundamentally driven equity portfolio research. Immediately prior to founding Serenity, Martin spent 5 years as a lead analyst at Deutsche Asset and Wealth management, also known as RREEF, which is one of the largest dedicated REIT funds in the world. As sole underwriter for multiple property sectors, Martin was responsible for coverage of upwards of 30 stocks representing almost 20% of RREEF's total domestic equities portfolio. Prior to working at Deutsche Bank, Martin was a quantitative analyst at Quantitative Services Group, a boutique research firm serving the quantitative investment community. In this role he learned the nuances of quantitative investing and trading, working as a consultant on a variety of trading and stock selection strategies. Marty graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a degree in Quantitative Economics, and his background in both quantitatively and fundamentally managed strategies drives the differentiated approach Serenity takes toward investing in equities.

DAVID W. KOLLMORGEN

Chief Operating Officer

David is the Chief Operating Officer for Serenity Alternative Investments and oversees operations and fund-raising activities. A s a 27 year veteran of JLL, David bring extensive expertise in both real estate operations and client management from one of the world’s premier global real estate firms. In his current role he is responsible for the global real estate portfolio and office and R&D facility services for a Fortune 50 client. Before returning to the US, David was based in London as the global Client Relationship Manager for Deutsche Bank. JLL provided Deutsche Bank global transaction management, strategic planning, lease administration, and facilities management in the Americas and APAC. Prior to that assignment David led the transactions team from JLL servicing Bank of America. David has extensive experience structuring complex real estate transactions, as his teams have been responsible for site selection and deal structuring for thousands of office, retail, data center, and warehouse transactions. Prior to joining JLL, David held positions for Citibank N.A. in New York and Chicago, and was an Assistant Vice President in the Leveraged Capital Group. David holds an AB in economics from Dartmouth College and an MBA in international business from the University of South Carolina
